Veizik for Apple Silicon — 2026.09.29
The first public download. A signed, notarised package for macOS on Apple Silicon: the command-line interface, the model cores and the signed core-id table, linking nothing that does not already ship with macOS. 4.4 MB installed.
This page records the state as of 2026-09-29 and is not updated as the catalogue moves. For what runs now, see models.
What this build does
- The catalogue doubles to eight models: the four base checkpoints and, new in this build, three Instruct variants and Qwen3-1.7B-Base.
- 4 of the eight answer a chat request as well as a completion: Qwen2.5-0.5B-Instruct, Qwen2.5-1.5B-Instruct, Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct, Qwen3-1.7B. The rest are completion models, and asking one of them to chat is refused rather than answered differently.
- 4.4 MB installed — 4,370,185 bytes in 43 files, summed from the published disk image by brand/stage_release.py.
- Signed with a Developer ID and notarised by Apple; the image carries SHA256SUMS over its other 48 files.

- Verification
- The file name, size and SHA-256 are printed on this page and on the release page, and the two agree. The disk image is signed with a Developer ID and notarised, and carries SHA256SUMS covering its other 48 files, so `shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS` checks the contents after you open it.
